InfluxData Roadshow coming to a city near you

The InfluxData Roadshow is a unique hands-on experience for using the industry-leading Time Series Platform. This event is focused on educating and enabling attendees to instrument and automate any system, application and business process across a variety of use cases.

The sessions start with a review of the vision and the latest customer case studies, followed by an in-depth review of the roadmap led by an InfluxData executive. The second half is an ideal session for dev and ops teams to learn how to use InfluxDB to deliver quality instrumentation practices. This technical second half is led by a Developer Advocate, and participants should have a systems administrator or developer background with competency in the Linux command line.

Paul Dix

Paul Dix is the creator of InfluxDB. He has helped build software for startups, large companies and organizations like Microsoft, Google, McAfee, Thomson Reuters, and Air Force Space Command. He is the series editor for Addison Wesley’s Data & Analytics book and video series. In 2010 Paul wrote the book Service-Oriented Design with Ruby and Rails for Addison Wesley’s. In 2009 he started the NYC Machine Learning Meetup, which now has over 7,000 members. Paul holds a degree in computer science from Columbia University.

Mark Herring

Mark is a well-rounded silicon-valley executive with proven experience in taking complex technology and making it understandable to the broader audience. He has a deep passion for marketing starting with the developer all the way up to the CIO. Before InfluxData, Mark was VP of corporate and developer marketing at Hortonworks. Previously, Mark has held senior management positions at Software AG, Sun Microsystems, Forte Software, and Oracle. Mark holds a B.S. Degree from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa.

Anais Dotis-Georgiou

Anais Dotis-Georgiou is a Developer Advocate for InfluxData with a passion for making data beautiful with the use of Data Analytics, AI, and Machine Learning. She takes the data that she collects, does a mix of research, exploration, and engineering to translate the data into something of function, value, and beauty. When she is not behind a screen, you can find her outside drawing, stretching, boarding, or chasing after a soccer ball.

Margo is a software developer from Denver, CO where she recently completed the front-end engineering program at the Turing School of Software and Design. Her decision to transition into software development stems from a keen thirst for new challenges, an affinity for problem-solving, and a significant alignment to community-driven growth. When not firmly planted in front of the computer coding, you can find her eating her way through Denver, rushing to hike the next 14er, or skipping off to the coast for scuba diving the big blue.
