Tech Guru Series developed various automation tools using Mysql DB to monitor internal production systems. They encountered performance issues while using mysql for large scale dataset for their monitoring tool and decided to explore time series databases for monitoring data. They migrated their existing database on InfluxDB and noticed huge performance improvements. InfluxDB provided TechGuruSeries a scalable way to both read and write large amounts of data. They use InfluxDB to chart aggregate operations over large amounts of data very quickly.
