In this post we’ll recap the most interesting InfluxDB related content you may have missed in the last week or so.

Announcements, Blogs, Videos and How-Tos

Monitoring and alerting with Kapacitor available on InfluxCloud

Kapacitor, the InfluxData project for monitoring and alerting on time series data, is available on InfluxCloud. Customers can now add a fully managed instance of Kapacitor starting at $200 per month. Using Kapacitor’s API, users can create and enable TICKscripts on our cloud. Read the blog about the new add-on or watch the video.

eBay’s Experimentation environment enables users to answer important analytics and business questions. This testing allows business units to conceptually explore new ideas that can vary from subtle to radical variations. Such test variations can be easily targeted to segments of the total customer population providing a level of assurance before launching to a broader audience. InfluxDB along with Grafana is used to measure various data quality metrics within the Experimentation platform that are monitored daily.

eBay Inc. is an American multinational corporation and e-commerce company, providing consumer-to-consumer and business-to-consumer sales services via the internet.
