David Norton

David Norton is currently an Engineering Manager at InfluxData, managing the team responsible for InfluxDB OSS & Enterprise and Kapacitor. Prior to managing the team, he was an early engineer at the company and helped build InfluxDB. And, prior to becoming a software engineer, spent a few years designing circuit boards and writing low level software. Outside of work, David has owned and operated a small sawmill, enjoys hacking on hardware & software side projects, likes the outdoors, and spending time with the fam.
