Managing Telegraf at Scale with Telegraf Enterprise
Session Date: Jul 09, 2026
Time: 8:00am (PT) | 3:00pm (GMT) | 4:00pm (BST)
Telegraf is the go-to open source agent for collecting metrics and events across your infrastructure. But running it reliably at scale has unique challenges. Telegraf Enterprise gives organizations the management tooling and support they need to run Telegraf with confidence in production.
In this session, Scott Anderson walks through Telegraf Enterprise and Telegraf Controller, the central hub to build configurations and manage your agents from one interface. You’ll see what Enterprise support covers, how it stacks up against the free open source version, and then watch a live demo of the full agent lifecycle. Scott will use Telegraf Controller to create a configuration, start a Telegraf agent, and demonstrate the agent reporting back to the Controller in real-time.
What we’ll cover
- Telegraf Enterprise overview: what it is and the problems it solves
- Enterprise support: what’s included and how it backs your deployment
- Telegraf Controller: centralized configuration and agent management
- Free vs. Enterprise: how the two compare
- Live demo: the full agent lifecycle, from configuration to reporting
