Assessing the Kubernetes Landscape

Gianluca Arbezzano is an SRE at InfluxData. He is a big Open Source contributor for several projects including and not limited to OpenTracing, Docker, and InfluxDB. He is also a Docker Captain and a CNCF Ambassador. He is passionate about troubleshooting applications at scale, observability and distributed systems. He is familiar with several programming languages, such as JavaScript and Golang and is an active speaker and writer, sharing his experiences and knowledge on projects that he is contributing to.

Dan Garfield is a full-stack engineer, Google Developer Expert, and member of the Forbes Technology Council. As a Kubernaut and CI/CD expert, Dan has built tools for advanced deployment methodologies with Kubernetes, Helm, and Istio. His code and talks have been featured at conferences including Kubecon, Dev Week, Google Cloud Summit, SwampUp, Redis Conf and many more.

Shiri is an experienced cloud solutions architect and product manager and holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management. Prior to joining WhiteSource as a product manager, Shiri worked for various companies where she held roles in R&D, such as solutions architect, R&D team leader and product manager.

Parker Edwards currently manages the Global Solutions Engineering team at Lightstep. Parker developed an affinity for understanding software performance at New Relic, before leaving to start a Solutions Engineering practice at Lyft Enterprise. As a user of Lightstep at Lyft he saw firsthand the insights that tracing could provide engineers at scale and started working at Lightstep in 2017 as a Solutions Engineer. There, he was able to help organizations like Under Armour, Zalando, Skyscanner, and FactSet integrate Observability into their application architectures and DevOps processes. Parker has a dog named Granger that is equally excited about enabling engineers to understand their complex application environments.
