Managing your InfluxDB Cloud Dedicated environment just got easier. We’ve introduced an admin UI to streamline everyday tasks, so you can spend less time navigating settings and more time working with your data.
The update is built for speed and usability. Whether you’re creating tables, managing tokens, or checking database status, the new UI helps you move faster with:
- Simpler navigation: Quickly find what you need without digging through menus
- No-code controls: Skip the CLI for common actions like creating databases or assigning tokens
- Better visibility: See the status of your resources at a glance
This update is all about reducing friction for developers and teams managing time series infrastructure at scale. Let’s take a look at what’s new.
Enhanced account management
When you log in, you’ll see all your accounts in one place, which means no more switching between tabs or digging through menus. If you only have one account, you’ll go straight to it. If you manage multiple, it’s easy to jump between them.
The new account homepage gives you a clear overview with key details like account ID, status, and start date. You’ll also see a list of all clusters tied to the account, with direct links to their associated Grafana dashboards for faster access to your visualizations.
Management token dashboard
The token portal lets you create, edit, and revoke management tokens to control admin access to your database without leaving the UI. The UI features the ability to search for specific tokens and filter by the status of the token.
Streamlined database management
The updated cluster page gives you a complete view of your cluster, including status, ID, URL, and creation date—right up front.
This page also lists all databases associated with the cluster and provides key information at a glance, including ID, max tables, max columns, and retention period. You can also see information about your cluster’s size and configuration, including details ingesters, queriers, and compactors.
With new no-code controls, managing your databases is faster and easier. Create, view, and delete databases and tables directly from the cluster page—no scripts needed.
You can also use this page to access a few more helpful resources. The database token management portal provides a convenient interface to create, edit permissions, and revoke tokens, simplifying database-level security.
Getting started with the new UI
The new UI is live, just head to console.influxdata.com to check it out. If you’re already using InfluxDB Cloud Dedicated, there’s nothing to install or configure, and you can start using it right away.
