Abstract: This article, published by DZone and written by InfluxData Founder and CTO Paul Dix, covers the InfluxDB 2.0 alpha release. The author begins by noting that InfluxData’s vision for 2.0 is to collapse the TICK Stack into one cohesive and consistent whole, incorporating the time series database, UI and dashboarding tool, and the background processing and monitoring agent behind a single API.
