Navigate to:

A new release of InfluxDB 2.0 Beta is available now. We will be shipping regular updates as we add new features and fix issues. Please keep in mind that these beta builds are not meant for testing performance or production usage. Please join us in our InfluxDB Community Slack and help us by giving feedback on the functionality, user experience, and APIs. Please see our official announcement blog for a more detailed look at the capabilities and roadmap for InfluxDB 2.0 OSS.

This release of InfluxDB 2.0 Beta includes the following enhancements:

  • InfluxDB Templates — The influx pkg command includes a new capability called Stacks. Stacks are a way for you to completely manage the state of your assets in InfluxDB using the command line. Stacks are stateful, which means updates you make in your Stack apply those changes to existing resources instead of creating new ones. Full documentation is coming soon, but for now, check out influx pkg stack -h and join us in Slack with questions.
  • InfluxDB UI Enhancements — We continue to improve the native InfluxDB UI to address bugs and usability issues. Threshold checks can now be set for values of zero, and we resolved issues with keyboard shortcuts in the Flux editor and addressed rendering issues on Firefox and Safari browsers.
  • Upgraded to Flux v0.67 — Flux has been updated to the latest version which includes many bug fixes and enhancements.

Please download and explore our latest release. If you find issues or have questions, please join our InfluxDB Community Slack, post them in our InfluxDB GitHub Repo or our Community Site and we will take a look. Thank you for all the interest and positive feedback so far.
